Hello guys,
My Bosch SGI09T05EU02 dishwasher has stopped working, and I’d like to fix the problem myself, so if anyone has a a repair guide or service manual for this machine, or can offer suggestions, I’d really appreciate it. When I try to start a wash, nothing happens: no lights, no sounds, and no water is flowing. It just shut down mid-cycle yesterday. I’m looking for some assistance to repair it. Please don't share the user manual, I already have it and it’s not informative.
Thanks in advance for your support!

Hi, assistance required please I too have a Bosch SGI09T05EU02 dishwasher, and I got the service manual shared above. Could anyone explain how to test the power supply and what components to inspect initially? I’m a bit overwhelmed by the wiring schematics. Any advice would be great!

Start by checking the basics: 1. Power Supply: Use a multimeter to test the outlet and the terminal block where the power cord connects to the dishwasher. You should see around 120V (or 240V, depending on your model). 2. Door Switch: This is a common failure point. If the door isn’t fully closed or the switch is faulty, the dishwasher won’t start. Test the switch for continuity with a multimeter. 3. Thermal Fuse: If the dishwasher overheated, the thermal fuse might be blown. Check it for continuity as well.

Hi, I’m having trouble with my dishwasher too. I checked the power supply, and the outlet, evrything is fine, but there’s no power at the connection point. According to the wiring diagram in the manual, I should have 120V there, right? How do I check the mainboard? Is my appliance totally faulty? The fuse seem fine, I tested it with a voltage meter. Any suggestions? 🤔

I believe my appliance has an electrical issue because it won’t start at all. I’m not very skilled with repairs, but I’m willing to give it a try. I have a current tester and some basic equipment. Can anyone help me on where to start? I’ve heard the mainboard, pump, or door switch could be the issue. Any advice would be appreciated, can provide model number if required!

Avoid jumping into changing parts right away. Depending on the issue, the approach to troubleshooting issues may differ. Sometimes, appliances are recalled for safety, and you can simply allow the company handle the repair. Does your appliance have problems with the screen, indicators, or makes noises? Start with the fundamentals by inspecting the electrical connection, latch, and mainboard. It’s crucial to proceed step by step instead of quickly replacing parts like the control board or pump. First, verify if the appliance is getting power. It’s as easy as that. Also, inspect the latch and fuse. If you’re a total beginner in appliance repair, it might be better to call a repair shop to prevent causing more damage, even if it costs a little extra. They can easily diagnose the issue and find the broken part. Then, it’s up to you whether you want to replace it yourself. (A piece of advice: always disconnect the appliance before working on it).

I believe I damaged my appliance heating element while trying to replace the water inlet valve. Now it doesn’t heat at all while running. Is it likely I caused more issues? Something’s not working properly. I downloaded the Bosch SGI09T05EU02 maintenance guide guide hopefully it’ll help me figure out what went wrong. Hoping for the best...

Here’s my checklist for diagnosing a faulty dishwasher: Electrical Supply: Verify the dishwasher is receiving power. Test the outlet and connection point as well. Door Switch: Test for continuity. A broken wire can stop the dishwasher from working. Thermal Fuse: Inspect if it’s damaged. Replace it if necessary. Control Board: Examine for obvious damage or disconnected connections. Pump and Motor: Check for continuity and confirm they’re working properly.
