Hi everyone,
My Bosch SGS23E02EU10 dishwasher has stopped working, and I’d like to repair the problem myself, so if anyone has a a repair guide or service manual for this unit, or can help me out, I’d really appreciate it. When I try to start a wash, nothing happens: no lights, no sounds, no water flow. It just died mid-cycle yesterday. I’m looking for some support to repair it. Please don't share the owner's manual, I already have it and it’s not helpful.
Thanks in advance for any advice!

Welcome to the Dishwasher Repair Forum! I have had a comparable issue with my Bosch SGS23E02EU10 dishwasher a few weeks ago, and I discovered a detailed service manual on the internet. It features detailed directions, wiring schematics, and diagnostic hints. Here’s the link, I found it on a blog thanks to a subreddit :

Hello, help needed please I also have a Bosch SGS23E02EU10 dishwasher, and I downloaded the repair manual mentioned above. Could someone explain how to check the power supply and what components to test first? I’m a bit overwhelmed by the wiring schematics. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Start by checking the basics: 1. Power Supply: Use a multimeter to test the outlet and the terminal block where the power cord connects to the dishwasher. You should see around 120V (or 240V, depending on your model). 2. Door Switch: This is a common failure point. If the door isn’t fully closed or the switch is faulty, the dishwasher won’t start. Test the switch for continuity with a multimeter. 3. Thermal Fuse: If the dishwasher overheated, the thermal fuse might be blown. Check it for continuity as well.

Hi, I’m experiencing trouble with my dishwasher too. I inspected the electrical supply, and the socket, evrything is working, but there’s no power at the terminal block. According to the wiring diagram in the guide, I expect to have 120V there, correct? How do I check the mainboard? Is my dishwasher completely non-functional? The fuses seem good, I checked it with a voltage meter. Any suggestions? 🤔

I think my dishwasher has an electrical issue because it won’t start at all. I’m not very skilled with repairs, but I’m open to give it a shot. I have a multimeter and some basic tools. Can someone help me on where to begin? I’ve heard the control board, pump, or door switch could be the problem. Any advice would be helpful, can provide model number if required!

Avoid rushing into replacing parts immediately. Depending on the issue, the approach to troubleshooting issues may vary. Sometimes, devices are recalled for safety, and you can simply let the manufacturer handle the repair. Does your appliance have problems with the screen, indicators, or makes sounds? Start with the basics by inspecting the power supply, latch, and mainboard. It’s important to proceed step by step instead of quickly replacing parts like the control board or pump. First, verify if the appliance is getting power. It’s as easy as that. Also, inspect the door switch and fuse. If you’re a complete beginner in appliance repair, it might be better to call a repair shop to prevent causing more issues, even if it costs a bit more. They can easily diagnose the issue and identify the broken part. Then, it’s your choice whether you decide to fix it yourself. (A piece of advice: always disconnect the dishwasher before working on it).

This is my checklist for diagnosing a malfunctioning dishwasher: Electrical Supply: Check the dishwasher is getting power. Test the outlet and connection point too. Latch: Test for continuity. A faulty switch can stop the dishwasher from working. Thermal Fuse: Inspect if it’s damaged. Swap it if necessary. Mainboard: Inspect for visible damage or loose connections. Motor and Motor: Check for continuity and confirm they’re working properly.
