Hi friends,
My Bosch SGS44E72EU10 dishwasher has broken down, and I’d like to address the problem myself, so if anyone has a a repair guide or service manual for this model, or can point me in the right direction, I’d really be thankful. When I try to start a wash, nothing happens: no lights, sounds, or water flow. It just quit mid-cycle yesterday. I’m looking for some advice to fix it. Please don't share the owner's manual, I already have it and it’s not informative.
Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the Dishwasher Repair Forum! I had a comparable issue with my Bosch SGS44E72EU10 dishwasher a few weeks ago, and I found a detailed service guide on the internet. It includes step-by-step directions, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting tips. Here’s the link, I discovered it on a blog thanks to a subreddit :

Hi, assistance needed please I too have a Bosch SGS44E72EU10 dishwasher, and I downloaded the service manual shared above. Could anyone explain how to check the power supply and what parts to test first? I’m a bit confused by the electrical schematics. Any suggestions would be great!

Start by checking the basics: 1. Power Supply: Use a multimeter to test the outlet and the terminal block where the power cord connects to the dishwasher. You should see around 120V (or 240V, depending on your model). 2. Door Switch: This is a common failure point. If the door isn’t fully closed or the switch is faulty, the dishwasher won’t start. Test the switch for continuity with a multimeter. 3. Thermal Fuse: If the dishwasher overheated, the thermal fuse might be blown. Check it for continuity as well.

Hello, I’m experiencing trouble with my appliance too. I inspected the power supply, and the socket, evrything is working, but there’s no voltage at the connection point. According to the schematic in the book, I expect to have some voltage there, correct? How do I check the mainboard? Is my appliance totally faulty? The fuses seem good, I checked it with a voltage meter. Any ideas? 🤔

I believe my appliance has an electrical issue because it won’t start at all. I’m not very tech savvy with fixing things, but I’m willing to give it a shot. I have a current tester and some basic tools. Can anyone help me on where to begin? I’ve heard the control board, pump, or door mechanism could be the issue. Any suggestions would be helpful, can provide model number if needed!

Avoid rushing into replacing parts immediately. Depending on the issue, the approach to diagnosing issues may differ. Sometimes, devices are recalled for safety, and you can simply allow the manufacturer handle everything. Does your appliance have problems with the display, indicators, or makes noises? Start with the fundamentals by checking the electrical connection, door switch, and control board. It’s important to move step by step instead of hastily replacing parts like the mainboard or pump. First, verify if the appliance is powered on. It’s as easy as that. Also, inspect the latch and thermal fuse. If you’re a total beginner in appliance repair, it might be better to call a repair shop to prevent causing more damage, even if it costs a little extra. They can easily identify the problem and identify the faulty part. Then, it’s your choice whether you want to fix it yourself. (A tip: always disconnect the dishwasher before trying to repair it).

This is my preferred checklist for troubleshooting a malfunctioning dishwasher: Power Supply: Check the dishwasher is receiving power. Test the outlet and connection point too. Door Switch: Check for continuity. A faulty switch can stop the dishwasher from starting. Thermal Fuse: Check if it’s blown. Replace it if needed. Mainboard: Inspect for obvious damage or loose connections. Pump and Pump: Test for proper operation and confirm they’re working properly. Here’s what I discovered:

Abonnez vous pour les nouveautés et offres exclusives. There are many normal sounds you can hear from a Dishwasher. opening the motor pump clean the motor magnet section reconnect and there we go. Check the manufacturer s instructions of such items to see if they re dishwasher safe. This is another tip from our plumber. They have a finished front sides and top the top often a cutting board or a countertop material to give extra food preparation space. Are there other vents or roof penetrations somewhere higher on the roof above that wall Water always travels downhill along the route of least resistance. Or maybe they outsourced the engineering and testing. Thankfully we re here to advise that there are just a few simple steps that you can take to prevent your dishwasher from stinking up the house. Consider which programs you ll actually find useful. Any test website can take 10 brand new dishwashers run some dishes through and test how clean the dishes are. You have to unlearn the glasses go in the top rack plates in the bottom rack habit. Date of page creation May 11 2021. Run Full Loads Dishwashers are most efficient when fully loaded. I switched from Finish to Fairy Premium tablets six months ago. Disconnect the hose from the pump. Now on the subject of low flow toilets the laws mandating them weren t solely prompted by water shortages but also like the phosphate issue by the cost of sewage treatment. However I m assuming you got to this article because you ran your new dishwasher and found it has a strong odor. This can be done by opening the appliance door and looking for any cracks holes or dirt. Your dishwasher will optimize the amount of dishwasher specific salt required based on the hardness level of your water. Make sure the dishes and utensils are secure and not banging together. Wondering if I can simply add an air gap down in the basement at the connection from the hose to the air gap. Selecting the right dishwasher cycle will ensure your dishware is cleaned thoroughly. If you can have fun with a boring cleaning device then I think that is pretty cool. Now that you know how to prevent water spots on dishes in the dishwasher you should be enjoying fresh and clean dishes all the time. There are also several wash cycles so you can tailor your cleaning to your dishes. But if left unchecked it can cause injuries or extensive damage to your appliances property and home. If the tub opening is not square the door will not seal properly. In my case it ruined the kitchen cabinets and the floor below when it leaked. I try to do this and there s always some greasy residue on it so the recommendation seems sensible.
