Hi all, My Bosch SGS5322DK04 dishwasher has failed, and I’d like to address the issue myself, so if anyone has a a repair guide or service manual for this unit, or can point me in the right direction, I’d really value it. When I try to start a washing cycle, nothing happens: no lights, no sounds, no water flow. It just died mid-cycle yesterday. I’m looking for some support to troubleshoot it. Please don't share the owner's manual, I already have it and it’s not useful. Thanks in advance for your help!

I experienced a similar problem with my Bosch SGS5322DK04 dishwasher a few months ago, and I found a comprehensive service guide on the internet. It includes detailed directions, electrical diagrams, and troubleshooting hints. Here’s the link, I discovered it on a blog on a subreddit :
Hello, assistance needed please I also have a Bosch SGS5322DK04 dishwasher, and I downloaded the service guide mentioned above. Could anyone clarify how to check the power supply and what parts to inspect first? I’m a bit confused by the electrical schematics. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
Start by checking the basics:
1. Power Supply: Use a multimeter to test the outlet and the terminal block where the power cord connects to the dishwasher. You should see around 120V (or 240V, depending on your model).
2. Door Switch: This is a common failure point. If the door isn’t fully closed or the switch is faulty, the dishwasher won’t start. Test the switch for continuity with a multimeter.
3. Thermal Fuse: If the dishwasher overheated, the thermal fuse might be blown. Check it for continuity as well.
Hello, I’m having trouble with my dishwasher too. I checked the power supply, and the socket, evrything is fine, but there’s no power at the connection point. According to the schematic in the pdf, I should have 120V there, right? How do I test the mainboard? Is my appliance totally dead? The fuse seem good, I tested it with a voltage meter. Any suggestions? 🤔
I think my appliance has an electrical problem because it isn't starting. I’m not very tech savvy with fixing things, but I’m willing to give it a shot. I have a multimeter and some basic equipment. Can someone guide me on how to start? I’ve heard the control board, pump, or door switch could be the issue. Any suggestions would be helpful, can provide model number if required!
Don’t Rush into replacing parts right away. Depending on the issue, the method to diagnosing issues may vary. Sometimes, devices are recalled, and you can simply let the company handle everything.
Does your appliance have issues with the screen, indicators, or makes noises? Start with the basics by inspecting the electrical connection, door switch, and control board.
It’s crucial to move step by step instead of hastily swapping parts like the control board or motor. First, verify if the appliance is powered on. It’s as easy as that. Also, inspect the door switch and thermal fuse.
If you’re a complete beginner in appliance repair, it might be safer to call a repair shop to prevent causing more damage, even if it costs a bit more. They can quickly diagnose the issue and find the broken part. Then, it’s your choice whether you want to fix it yourself. (A tip: always unplug the dishwasher before trying to repair it).
I believe I damaged my appliance thermal resistance while trying to swap the water inlet valve. Now it doesn’t heat at all while running. Is it likely I caused more damage? Something’s not working properly.
I downloaded the Bosch SGS5322DK04 maintenance guide guide hopefully it’ll assist me determine what went wrong. Fingers crossed...
