Hi people, My Bosch SGU4002DK13 dishwasher has broken down, and I’d like to diagnose the problem myself, so if anyone has a a repair guide or service manual for this appliance, or can provide some advice, I’d really value it. When I try to start a cycle, nothing happens: no lights, no sounds, no water flow. It just died mid-cycle yesterday. I’m looking for some support to get it working again. Please don't share the user manual, I already have it and it’s not useful. Thanks in advance!

Hello, assistance required please I too have a Bosch SGU4002DK13 dishwasher, and I got the repair guide shared above. Could anyone explain how to test the electrical supply and what parts to test initially? I’m a bit confused by the wiring diagrams. Any suggestions would be great!
Start by checking the basics:
1. Power Supply: Use a multimeter to test the outlet and the terminal block where the power cord connects to the dishwasher. You should see around 120V (or 240V, depending on your model).
2. Door Switch: This is a common failure point. If the door isn’t fully closed or the switch is faulty, the dishwasher won’t start. Test the switch for continuity with a multimeter.
3. Thermal Fuse: If the dishwasher overheated, the thermal fuse might be blown. Check it for continuity as well.
Hi, I’m experiencing trouble with my appliance too. I checked the electrical supply, and the outlet, evrything is working, but there’s no voltage at the connection point. According to the schematic in the guide, I expect to have 120V there, right? How do I test the control board? Is my dishwasher completely dead? The fuses seem fine, I tested it with a voltage meter. Any ideas? 🤔
I think my dishwasher has an electrical problem because it isn't starting. I’m not very experienced with repairs, but I’m open to give it a try. I have a multimeter and some basic equipment. Can anyone help me on where to begin? I’ve heard the mainboard, pump, or door switch could be the problem. Any advice would be helpful, can provide model number if needed!
Avoid jumping into changing parts right away. Depending on the issue, the approach to troubleshooting malfunctions may vary. Sometimes, appliances are recalled for safety, and you can simply allow the manufacturer handle the repair.

It’s crucial to move step by step instead of hastily replacing parts like the mainboard or pump. First, check if the dishwasher is powered on. It’s as easy as that. Also, check the latch and fuse.

This is my preferred checklist for diagnosing a malfunctioning dishwasher:
Electrical Supply: Check the dishwasher is receiving power. Test the socket and terminal block too.
Latch: Test for continuity. A broken wire can prevent the dishwasher from working.
Thermal Fuse: Check if it’s damaged. Replace it if needed.
Mainboard: Examine for obvious damage or loose connections.
Motor and Motor: Test for continuity and ensure they’re working properly.
