Hi everyone,
My Bosch SGU6922DK03 dishwasher has failed, and I’d like to diagnose the issue myself, so if anyone has a a repair guide or service manual for this machine, or can guide me, I’d really appreciate it. When I try to start a cleaning cycle, nothing happens: no lights, no sounds, no water flow. It just shut down mid-cycle yesterday. I’m looking for some advice to get it working again. Please don't share the owner's manual, I already have it and it’s not informative.
Thanks in advance for any advice!

Welcome to the Dishwasher Repair Forum! I experienced a similar problem with my Bosch SGU6922DK03 dishwasher a few weeks ago, and I discovered a comprehensive service guide online. It includes detailed directions, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting tips. Here’s the URL, I discovered it on a blog thanks to reddit :

Hi, help needed please I also have a Bosch SGU6922DK03 dishwasher, and I got the repair guide shared above. Could someone clarify how to check the power supply and what parts to inspect initially? I’m a bit confused by the wiring schematics. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Start by checking the basics: 1. Power Supply: Use a multimeter to test the outlet and the terminal block where the power cord connects to the dishwasher. You should see around 120V (or 240V, depending on your model). 2. Door Switch: This is a common failure point. If the door isn’t fully closed or the switch is faulty, the dishwasher won’t start. Test the switch for continuity with a multimeter. 3. Thermal Fuse: If the dishwasher overheated, the thermal fuse might be blown. Check it for continuity as well.

Hi, I’m experiencing trouble with my dishwasher too. I inspected the electrical supply, and the socket, evrything is fine, but there’s no voltage at the connection point. According to the wiring diagram in the pdf, I expect to have some voltage there, right? How do I test the control board? Is my dishwasher completely non-functional? The fuses seem good, I tested it with a voltage meter. Any ideas? 🤔

I think my dishwasher has an electrical issue because it isn't starting. I’m not very experienced with fixing things, but I’m willing to give it a shot. I have a current tester and some basic tools. Can someone help me on where to begin? I’ve heard the control board, motor, or door switch could be the issue. Any advice would be appreciated, can provide serial number if required!

Don't jump into changing parts immediately. Depending on the issue, the method to troubleshooting malfunctions may differ. Sometimes, devices are recalled for safety, and you can simply allow the manufacturer handle everything. Does your appliance have problems with the screen, lights, or makes sounds? Start with the basics by inspecting the electrical connection, latch, and mainboard. It’s important to move step by step instead of hastily swapping parts like the mainboard or motor. First, verify if the dishwasher is powered on. It’s as easy as that. Also, check the latch and thermal fuse. If you’re a complete beginner in dishwasher repair, it might be better to call a service center to avoid causing more issues, even if it costs a bit more. They can quickly diagnose the issue and find the broken part. Then, it’s your choice whether you want to fix it yourself. (A piece of advice: always disconnect the appliance prior to trying to repair it).

Here’s my go-to checklist for diagnosing a malfunctioning dishwasher: Power Supply: Check the dishwasher is receiving power. Test the socket and connection point too. Latch: Test for continuity. A faulty wire can prevent the dishwasher from working. Thermal Fuse: Inspect if it’s damaged. Swap it if necessary. Control Board: Examine for visible damage or loose connections. Motor and Pump: Test for continuity and ensure they’re functioning properly. For more detailed instructions, refer to this link. : https://www.appliancepartspros.com/gaggenau-dishwasher-parts.html

Here’s what I discovered:

as I crap the 65 degree cycle. By Theresa Clement Donna Boyle Schwartz. While you may not intentionally use the two at once they could accidentally interact if there s still some liquid dishwashing detergent left over in the tray from a recent cycle. in kettle always empty completely immediately after boiling allowing water to cool slowly maximises scale build up. Thanks for your reply  MitchellMc  I have seen the products you recommended  and I am thinking of getting two  sioux chief arrestor  one at dishwasher and another at Washing Machine Would you recommend that. If the lower spray arm is turning the wash motor is definitely running. Stainless steel does a great job of resisting rust and corrosion but be aware that dishwashers are a particularly punishing environment for steel. Frequent use especially heavy use can contribute to a shorter lifespan with dishwashers used in large households or commercial settings tending to wear out sooner. Stack Exchange network consists of 183 Q A communities including Stack Overflow the largest most trusted online community for developers to learn share their knowledge and build their careers. Overall these really performed so well. The dishwasher will likely need to be pulled out and placed on its back to access the pump underneath the dishwasher. Hence it is prudent for you to check your soap dispenser for any damage before using your dishwasher. You agree to our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. Most dishwashers have two seals one for the top and sides of the door and one for the bottom. That s why let us save you from making the same mistakes. Possible the leakage switch is broken the leakage switch was activated for 2 seconds there is a problem with the main board PBA. Fragile glassware can scratch or break easily. Thank you for writing about this I m an American and I just moved to Greece. Table top dishwashers are especially useful for tiny kitchens or studio apartments where full size or slimline models might be impractical. I lame a 10 11 year old Internode Bosch dishwasher retarded also does crap Duke University drain. Have you seen the new post today for a dishwasher down from k to 209 http www. This dishwasher is effective on hard water and is compatible with many dishwasher models. For dealing with an average mix of dishes the Normal cycle delivers solid performance without fuss. Also look underneath the d w for any leaks. Instead of having a jumble of plates and bowls piled up on your draining rack they ll either be hidden away in your benchtop dishwasher or stacked away in the cupboard. You should be checking and cleaning the filter between each cycle this is to ensure the same food won t dirty the next load. I never knew there was a drain catcher thing in the bottom of my dishwasher. When washing large or heavy items vibration and out of balance loads can occur.
