Hello friends, My Bosch SGV43E73SK33 dishwasher has quit working, and I’d like to fix the issue myself, so if anyone has a a repair guide or service manual for this appliance, or can help me out, I’d really thank you. When I try to start a cycle, nothing happens: no lights, sounds, or water flow. It just stopped mid-cycle yesterday. I’m looking for some help to fix it. Please don't share the operating manual, I already have it and it’s not helpful. Thanks in advance for any assistance!

I had a comparable issue with my Bosch SGV43E73SK33 dishwasher a few months ago, and I found a detailed service manual online. It features detailed directions, wiring schematics, and diagnostic tips. Here’s the link, I found it on a blog on reddit :
Hi, assistance needed please I too have a Bosch SGV43E73SK33 dishwasher, and I got the repair guide shared above. Could someone explain how to test the power supply and what components to inspect initially? I’m a bit overwhelmed by the wiring diagrams. Any advice would be appreciated!
Start by checking the basics:
1. Power Supply: Use a multimeter to test the outlet and the terminal block where the power cord connects to the dishwasher. You should see around 120V (or 240V, depending on your model).
2. Door Switch: This is a common failure point. If the door isn’t fully closed or the switch is faulty, the dishwasher won’t start. Test the switch for continuity with a multimeter.
3. Thermal Fuse: If the dishwasher overheated, the thermal fuse might be blown. Check it for continuity as well.
Hi, I’m experiencing trouble with my appliance too. I inspected the electrical supply, and the outlet, evrything is fine, but there’s no voltage at the terminal block. According to the wiring diagram in the pdf, I should have some voltage there, right? How do I check the mainboard? Is my appliance totally non-functional? The fuse seem good, I tested it with a multimeter. Any ideas? 🤔
I think my dishwasher has an electrical problem because it isn't starting. I’m not very experienced with repairs, but I’m willing to give it a try. I have a current tester and some simple equipment. Can someone help me on where to start? I’ve heard the control board, pump, or door switch could be the issue. Any advice would be appreciated, can provide model number if required!
Don't jump into replacing parts right away. Depending on the issue, the approach to diagnosing issues may differ. Sometimes, appliances are recalled for safety, and you can simply allow the manufacturer handle the repair.
Does your appliance have problems with the screen, lights, or makes noises? Start with the basics by checking the electrical connection, door switch, and mainboard.
It’s important to proceed step by step instead of quickly swapping parts like the control board or motor. First, verify if the appliance is powered on. It’s as easy as that. Also, inspect the door switch and thermal fuse.
If you’re a total beginner in dishwasher repair, it might be better to call a service center to prevent causing more issues, even if it costs a bit more. They can quickly diagnose the issue and identify the faulty part. Then, it’s your choice whether you decide to fix it yourself. (A tip: always unplug the appliance before working on it).
I think I damaged my appliance heating element while trying to swap the water valve. Now it won’t heat at all while running. Is it likely I caused more damage? Something’s not working properly.
I grabbed the Bosch SGV43E73SK33 maintenance guide guide hopefully it’ll help me determine what went wrong. Hoping for the best...
Here’s my go-to checklist for troubleshooting a faulty dishwasher:
Electrical Supply: Verify the dishwasher is getting power. Check the outlet and connection point as well.
Latch: Check for continuity. A faulty wire can prevent the dishwasher from working.
Thermal Fuse: Inspect if it’s damaged. Replace it if needed.
Control Board: Inspect for obvious damage or disconnected connections.
Motor and Pump: Check for continuity and ensure they’re functioning properly.
