Hi friends,
My Bosch SHE9PT55UC93 dishwasher has failed, and I’d like to repair the issue myself, so if anyone has a a repair guide or service manual for this machine, or can point me in the right direction, I’d really appreciate it. When I try to start a cleaning cycle, nothing happens: no lights, sounds, or water flow. It just quit mid-cycle yesterday. I’m looking for some assistance to fix it. Please don't share the operating manual, I already have it and it’s not useful.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Welcome to the Dishwasher Repair Forum! I had a comparable issue with my Bosch SHE9PT55UC93 dishwasher a few weeks ago, and I found a comprehensive service manual on the internet. It features step-by-step directions, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting hints. Here’s the URL, I discovered it on a blog through a subreddit :

Hi, help needed please I also have a Bosch SHE9PT55UC93 dishwasher, and I downloaded the service guide shared above. Could someone clarify how to check the electrical supply and what components to test first? I’m a bit overwhelmed by the wiring schematics. Any advice would be appreciated!

Start by checking the basics: 1. Power Supply: Use a multimeter to test the outlet and the terminal block where the power cord connects to the dishwasher. You should see around 120V (or 240V, depending on your model). 2. Door Switch: This is a common failure point. If the door isn’t fully closed or the switch is faulty, the dishwasher won’t start. Test the switch for continuity with a multimeter. 3. Thermal Fuse: If the dishwasher overheated, the thermal fuse might be blown. Check it for continuity as well.

Hi, I’m experiencing trouble with my dishwasher too. I checked the power supply, and the outlet, evrything is working, but there’s no power at the connection point. According to the wiring diagram in the book, I should have some voltage there, right? How do I test the control board? Is my dishwasher totally non-functional? The fuse seem good, I checked it with a multimeter. Any suggestions? 🤔

I believe my appliance has an electrical problem because it won’t start at all. I’m not very tech savvy with repairs, but I’m open to give it a shot. I have a current tester and some simple tools. Can someone help me on how to begin? I’ve heard the mainboard, pump, or door switch could be the issue. Any suggestions would be helpful, can provide serial number if needed!

Avoid jumping into changing parts right away. Depending on the issue, the approach to troubleshooting malfunctions may differ. Sometimes, devices are recalled for safety, and you can simply allow the company handle everything. Does your appliance have issues with the display, lights, or makes noises? Start with the basics by inspecting the power supply, door switch, and control board. It’s crucial to move step by step instead of hastily swapping parts like the mainboard or pump. First, verify if the appliance is getting power. It’s as simple as that. Also, check the door switch and fuse. If you’re a complete beginner in appliance repair, it might be safer to call a service center to prevent causing more issues, even if it costs a bit more. They can quickly diagnose the problem and find the faulty part. Then, it’s your choice whether you want to fix it yourself. (A tip: always disconnect the dishwasher before trying to repair it).

I think I damaged my dishwasher heating element while trying to replace the water valve. Now it doesn’t warm up at all while running. Is it likely I caused more damage? Something’s not working properly. I downloaded the Bosch SHE9PT55UC93 maintenance guide guide hopefully it’ll help me figure out what went wrong. Fingers crossed...

Here’s my preferred checklist for diagnosing a malfunctioning dishwasher: Electrical Supply: Check the dishwasher is getting power. Check the outlet and connection point too. Latch: Check for continuity. A faulty switch can prevent the dishwasher from starting. Thermal Fuse: Check if it’s damaged. Replace it if necessary. Mainboard: Inspect for visible damage or loose connections. Pump and Motor: Test for proper operation and ensure they’re working properly. Here’s what I found:
