Hi people,
My Bosch SHU66C07UC14SERIAL8210 dishwasher has ceased functioning, and I’d like to address the problem myself, so if anyone has a a repair guide or service manual for this machine, or can help me out, I’d really value it. When I try to start a cleaning cycle, nothing happens: no lights, no sounds, no water flow. It just shut down mid-cycle yesterday. I’m looking for some advice to get it working again. Please don't share the owner's manual, I already have it and it’s not informative.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Welcome to the Dishwasher Repair Forum! I experienced a similar issue with my Bosch SHU66C07UC14SERIAL8210 dishwasher a few months ago, and I found a detailed service guide online. It includes step-by-step directions, electrical diagrams, and diagnostic tips. Here’s the URL, I discovered it on a blog on reddit :

Hello, help needed please I too have a Bosch SHU66C07UC14SERIAL8210 dishwasher, and I got the repair guide shared above. Could someone explain how to check the power supply and what parts to inspect first? I’m a bit overwhelmed by the electrical schematics. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Start by checking the basics: 1. Power Supply: Use a multimeter to test the outlet and the terminal block where the power cord connects to the dishwasher. You should see around 120V (or 240V, depending on your model). 2. Door Switch: This is a common failure point. If the door isn’t fully closed or the switch is faulty, the dishwasher won’t start. Test the switch for continuity with a multimeter. 3. Thermal Fuse: If the dishwasher overheated, the thermal fuse might be blown. Check it for continuity as well.

Hi, I’m experiencing trouble with my dishwasher too. I checked the power supply, and the outlet, evrything is working, but there’s no voltage at the connection point. According to the schematic in the pdf, I should have 120V there, right? How do I test the mainboard? Is my appliance totally faulty? The fuses seem good, I checked it with a voltage meter. Any suggestions? 🤔

I believe my dishwasher has an electrical problem because it won’t start at all. I’m not very skilled with fixing things, but I’m open to give it a try. I have a current tester and some simple tools. Can anyone help me on how to start? I’ve heard the mainboard, pump, or door mechanism could be the issue. Any suggestions would be helpful, can provide model number if needed!

Avoid jumping into replacing parts immediately. Depending on the issue, the approach to troubleshooting malfunctions may vary. Sometimes, devices are recalled, and you can simply let the manufacturer handle everything. Does your appliance have issues with the display, lights, or makes sounds? Start with the fundamentals by inspecting the power supply, latch, and mainboard. It’s crucial to move step by step instead of hastily replacing parts like the control board or motor. First, check if the appliance is getting power. It’s as easy as that. Also, check the door switch and fuse. If you’re a complete beginner in appliance repair, it might be better to call a repair shop to prevent causing more damage, even if it costs a bit more. They can easily identify the problem and find the faulty part. Then, it’s up to you whether you want to replace it yourself. (A tip: always disconnect the dishwasher prior to trying to repair it).

I think I damaged my appliance thermal resistance while trying to replace the water valve. Now it doesn’t warm up at all while running. Is it likely I caused more issues? Something’s not working properly. I downloaded the Bosch SHU66C07UC14SERIAL8210 maintenance guide guide hopefully it’ll help me determine what went wrong. Hoping for the best...

This is my checklist for troubleshooting a faulty dishwasher: Power Supply: Check the dishwasher is getting power. Check the outlet and connection point as well. Door Switch: Check for continuity. A faulty switch can stop the dishwasher from working. Fuse: Check if it’s blown. Replace it if necessary. Control Board: Inspect for obvious damage or disconnected connections. Pump and Pump: Check for continuity and confirm they’re functioning properly. Here’s what I discovered:

The way I tested the continuity on the valve initially seems to have been a mistake. From regular cleaning to loading them carefully and using high quality dishwasher tablets maintaining your dishwasher can not only keep your dishes clean it can also help prolong your appliance s life. The decibel level signifies the noise level for a dishwasher. They are also unable to mitigate the more serious water leak problems such as burst pipes or water heaters. But I do use the cheepest tablets I can find. Have you completed a power cycle of the unit or checked the circuit breaker to make sure it s not tripped Have there been any power outages recently. Just sprinkle baking soda on your baking mat then rub it with a soft sponge soaked in warm water. We re sorry that we couldn t help with your query. Today choosing the right dishwasher is not an easy task. Having a BYO benchtop dishwasher will also make you more appealing as a prospective new housemate bonus. Then repeat but use a coat of baking soda on the bottom instead of vinegar. If your heating coil is not working properly you may need to replace your dishwasher. There is some controversy as to whether the paints are food safe. That ASKO idiots Valero a Swedish made idiots BUT I did end Lowe s idiots buying another ASKO though. You also have to add two separate doses of dishwasher detergent in each drawer. I also cleaned filters and arms top up salt and rinse aid and use finish power ball tablets. I love always having a drawer free for receiving dirty dishes. Replace any damaged components. Only 1 purchase of a particular Qualifying Product can be included on any one claim form. Drying Performance Many users like how well the KitchenAid dishwasher dries. Some lead crystal will etch become cloudy and pitted after repeated washings. The differences between countries found by Stamminger et al. Now you know if these smart appliances are right for you and your kitchen. They also include enzymes to break down starchy foods and protein builders to tackle hard water and safe bleaches. Expensive models often have a greater number of features but whether or not they re useful for you will depend on personal habits and preferences. Rinse aid Designed to prevent streaks and leave glasses and other items shining rinse aid stops water from forming into droplets which can cause streaks. I couldn t wait for that thing to croak so I could replace it. Check the dishwasher cabinet insulation. Well These brands earn their name because they sit in the well behind the bar. We d appreciate any ideas or advice.
