Hello all, My Bosch SHX43E02UC21 dishwasher has quit working, and I’d like to fix the problem myself, so if anyone has a a repair guide or service manual for this unit, or can guide me, I’d really thank you. When I try to start a cleaning cycle, nothing happens: no lights, no sounds, no water flow. It just quit mid-cycle yesterday. I’m looking for some advice to get it working again. Please don't share the owner's manual, I already have it and it’s not informative. Thanks in advance for your support!

I experienced a comparable issue with my Bosch SHX43E02UC21 dishwasher a few weeks ago, and I discovered a detailed service manual online. It includes detailed instructions, electrical schematics, and diagnostic hints. Here’s the URL, I found it on a blog on reddit :
Hi, assistance needed please I too have a Bosch SHX43E02UC21 dishwasher, and I got the repair guide mentioned above. Could someone explain how to test the power supply and what components to test initially? I’m a bit overwhelmed by the electrical schematics. Any advice would be appreciated!
Start by checking the basics:
1. Power Supply: Use a multimeter to test the outlet and the terminal block where the power cord connects to the dishwasher. You should see around 120V (or 240V, depending on your model).
2. Door Switch: This is a common failure point. If the door isn’t fully closed or the switch is faulty, the dishwasher won’t start. Test the switch for continuity with a multimeter.
3. Thermal Fuse: If the dishwasher overheated, the thermal fuse might be blown. Check it for continuity as well.
Hi, I’m experiencing trouble with my appliance too. I checked the power supply, and the outlet, evrything is working, but there’s no power at the connection point. According to the wiring diagram in the book, I expect to have 120V there, correct? How do I test the mainboard? Is my appliance totally non-functional? The fuse seem good, I checked it with a multimeter. Any ideas? 🤔
I think my dishwasher has an electrical problem because it isn't starting. I’m not very skilled with fixing things, but I’m open to give it a shot. I have a current tester and some simple tools. Can anyone guide me on how to start? I’ve heard the mainboard, pump, or door mechanism could be the problem. Any suggestions would be helpful, can provide model number if required!
Avoid rushing into replacing parts right away. Depending on the problem, the method to diagnosing malfunctions may differ. Sometimes, devices are recalled for safety, and you can simply let the company handle the repair.
Does your appliance have issues with the display, lights, or makes noises? Start with the fundamentals by checking the electrical connection, door switch, and control board.
It’s important to proceed step by step instead of quickly replacing parts like the mainboard or pump. First, check if the dishwasher is getting power. It’s as simple as that. Also, inspect the latch and fuse.
If you’re a total beginner in dishwasher repair, it might be safer to call a repair shop to avoid causing more damage, even if it costs a bit more. They can quickly identify the issue and identify the broken part. Then, it’s your choice whether you decide to fix it yourself. (A piece of advice: always disconnect the dishwasher prior to working on it).
I think I damaged my appliance thermal resistance while trying to replace the water inlet valve. Now it won’t heat at all while operating. Is it likely I caused more damage? Something’s not right.
I grabbed the Bosch SHX43E02UC21 maintenance guide guide hopefully it’ll help me figure out what went wrong. Fingers crossed...
This is my checklist for diagnosing a faulty dishwasher:
Power Supply: Verify the dishwasher is getting power. Check the outlet and connection point too.
Latch: Test for continuity. A faulty switch can stop the dishwasher from starting.
Fuse: Inspect if it’s blown. Swap it if necessary.
Control Board: Examine for obvious damage or disconnected connections.
Pump and Motor: Check for proper operation and ensure they’re functioning properly.
