Hello my good fellows, My Bosch SMS6100300 dishwasher has failed, and I’d like to fix the problem myself, so if anyone has a a repair guide or service manual for this appliance, or can provide some advice, I’d really appreciate it. When I try to start a cycle, nothing happens: no lights or sounds, and no water flows. It just failed mid-cycle yesterday. I’m looking for some advice to fix it. Please don't share the operating manual, I already have it and it’s not helpful. Thanks in advance!

I experienced a comparable problem with my Bosch SMS6100300 dishwasher a few months ago, and I found a detailed service guide online. It features detailed directions, electrical schematics, and diagnostic hints. Here’s the URL, I discovered it on a blog on a subreddit :
Hi, assistance required please I also have a Bosch SMS6100300 dishwasher, and I got the service manual shared above. Could anyone explain how to test the electrical supply and what parts to inspect initially? I’m a bit confused by the electrical diagrams. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
Start by checking the basics:
1. Power Supply: Use a multimeter to test the outlet and the terminal block where the power cord connects to the dishwasher. You should see around 120V (or 240V, depending on your model).
2. Door Switch: This is a common failure point. If the door isn’t fully closed or the switch is faulty, the dishwasher won’t start. Test the switch for continuity with a multimeter.
3. Thermal Fuse: If the dishwasher overheated, the thermal fuse might be blown. Check it for continuity as well.
Hello, I’m having trouble with my dishwasher too. I inspected the electrical supply, and the outlet, evrything is fine, but there’s no power at the terminal block. According to the wiring diagram in the manual, I expect to have some voltage there, correct? How do I test the mainboard? Is my appliance completely dead? The fuse seem fine, I checked it with a voltage meter. Any ideas? 🤔
I think my dishwasher has an electrical problem because it won’t start at all. I’m not very skilled with repairs, but I’m willing to give it a try. I have a current tester and some basic equipment. Can someone help me on where to start? I’ve heard the control board, pump, or door switch could be the issue. Any suggestions would be helpful, can provide serial number if needed!
Don’t Rush into changing parts immediately. Depending on the problem, the method to troubleshooting issues may vary. Sometimes, appliances are recalled for safety, and you can simply allow the company handle everything.
Does your appliance have issues with the display, lights, or makes noises? Start with the basics by checking the power supply, latch, and control board.
It’s important to proceed step by step instead of hastily swapping parts like the mainboard or pump. First, check if the appliance is powered on. It’s as simple as that. Also, check the door switch and fuse.
If you’re a complete beginner in appliance repair, it might be better to call a service center to prevent causing more damage, even if it costs a little extra. They can easily diagnose the problem and identify the faulty part. Then, it’s up to you whether you decide to replace it yourself. (A tip: always unplug the dishwasher before working on it).
I believe I damaged my dishwasher thermal resistance while trying to swap the water valve. Now it won’t heat at all while operating. Is it possible I caused more issues? Something’s not right.
I downloaded the Bosch SMS6100300 maintenance guide guide hopefully it’ll help me figure out what went wrong. Hoping for the best...
Here’s my checklist for diagnosing a faulty dishwasher:
Power Supply: Verify the dishwasher is receiving power. Test the outlet and connection point too.
Latch: Test for continuity. A faulty wire can stop the dishwasher from working.
Thermal Fuse: Inspect if it’s damaged. Replace it if necessary.
Mainboard: Examine for visible damage or loose connections.
Motor and Pump: Check for continuity and ensure they’re working properly.
