Hello everyone,
My Bosch SMV69T10GB11 dishwasher has failed, and I’d like to diagnose the issue myself, so if anyone has a a repair guide or service manual for this appliance, or can guide me, I’d really value it. When I try to start a cycle, nothing happens: no lights or sounds, and no water flows. It just failed mid-cycle yesterday. I’m looking for some help to get it working again. Please don't share the owner's manual, I already have it and it’s not informative.
Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the Dishwasher Repair Forum! I have had a similar problem with my Bosch SMV69T10GB11 dishwasher a few months ago, and I discovered a detailed service manual on the internet. It features step-by-step instructions, electrical schematics, and diagnostic tips. Here’s the URL, I found it on a blog on reddit :

Hi, help required please I also have a Bosch SMV69T10GB11 dishwasher, and I got the service guide mentioned above. Could someone explain how to test the power supply and what components to test first? I’m a bit confused by the electrical diagrams. Any advice would be appreciated!

Start by checking the basics: 1. Power Supply: Use a multimeter to test the outlet and the terminal block where the power cord connects to the dishwasher. You should see around 120V (or 240V, depending on your model). 2. Door Switch: This is a common failure point. If the door isn’t fully closed or the switch is faulty, the dishwasher won’t start. Test the switch for continuity with a multimeter. 3. Thermal Fuse: If the dishwasher overheated, the thermal fuse might be blown. Check it for continuity as well.

Hello, I’m having trouble with my dishwasher too. I checked the power supply, and the outlet, evrything is working, but there’s no power at the terminal block. According to the schematic in the pdf, I should have some voltage there, right? How do I check the mainboard? Is my appliance completely dead? The fuse seem good, I checked it with a multimeter. Any ideas? 🤔

I believe my appliance has an electrical problem because it isn't starting. I’m not very skilled with repairs, but I’m willing to give it a shot. I have a current tester and some basic equipment. Can anyone help me on how to start? I’ve heard the mainboard, motor, or door mechanism could be the problem. Any suggestions would be appreciated, can provide model number if required!

Avoid jumping into replacing parts immediately. Depending on the problem, the method to troubleshooting issues may vary. Sometimes, appliances are recalled for safety, and you can simply allow the manufacturer handle everything. Does your appliance have problems with the screen, lights, or makes noises? Start with the basics by checking the power supply, latch, and mainboard. It’s important to proceed step by step instead of quickly replacing parts like the control board or motor. First, verify if the appliance is getting power. It’s as easy as that. Also, check the latch and thermal fuse. If you’re a total beginner in appliance repair, it might be safer to call a service center to prevent causing more damage, even if it costs a bit more. They can easily identify the issue and identify the broken part. Then, it’s up to you whether you want to fix it yourself. (A piece of advice: always unplug the dishwasher prior to working on it).

I believe I damaged my appliance heating element while trying to swap the water valve. Now it doesn’t warm up at all while operating. Is it possible I caused more damage? Something’s not right. I grabbed the Bosch SMV69T10GB11 maintenance guide guide hopefully it’ll help me figure out what went wrong. Hoping for the best...

Here’s my go-to checklist for troubleshooting a faulty dishwasher: Power Supply: Check the dishwasher is getting power. Check the socket and terminal block too. Latch: Test for continuity. A faulty switch can stop the dishwasher from working. Fuse: Check if it’s damaged. Replace it if necessary. Mainboard: Inspect for visible damage or disconnected connections. Pump and Motor: Test for proper operation and ensure they’re functioning properly. Here’s what I discovered:

And the charge to plumb it is in 300 cash. All three are economical and effective. However I m assuming you got to this article because you ran your new dishwasher and found it has a strong odor. Many dishwasher makers offer warranties on the inner tub lasting from a few years to the appliance s life. I remember my mother and other housewives grumbling about poor dishwasher performance. We routinely hear from our experts that Miele is a dependable brand and we recommend other Miele appliances including vacuum cleaners. It s a dishwasher not a garbage disposal. Like our budget pick it accommodates 13 place settings which is among the lowest capacity of all the dishwashers we tested most of our picks have room for 15 to 16 place settings. But it even handled a dinner party I d thrown for six people. More detergent is always a better clean this can be a common mentality when it comes to any cleaning. In addition various energy labels have been developed worldwide to provide incentives to make household appliances more environmentally friendly. Anyone is using dishwasher Anyone installed a dishwasher. The best time to set up a full wash cycle can be evening or early morning. Therefore it is ideal to use water at 120 F to achieve the best dishwashing results. It s 2 right I just wanted to be 100 sure. I love this forum and this is the first place I think of when I have questions or problems. If this dishwasher is on a Multi WWire Circuit and both hot legs were incorrectly hooked up to the same bus creating an additive effect on the neutral could it have an effect like this. I m happy you found it helpful Linda I tried to answer all the questions I had before I bought it. Update I successfully ran several cleaning cycles dishwasher cleaner vinegar baking soda all separate. The Dryer comes on and once it gets hot begins to create steam that keeps everything wet. How much water your dishwasher uses will depend on how old your model is. In our experience most of the additional wash cycles beyond those core three are of niche usefulness. A drain hose is also a great place for mold to start growing. It s true that the Bosch Integra SHX98M09UC see below scored better but we felt the bloated price rendered it inferior to the LG. To know which part is causing your soap dispenser problem you must test each one. Make sure to leave enough room for water to move around your dishes pots and pans. The drain pump will do one or two revolutions at minimum. B M 2022 02 11 Treated me honestly. Puracy Dishwasher Detergent Pacs were mediocre and there are better comparably simple detergents on the market. has dried and hardened on dishes no judgement here if they hung out in the sink for a few days we definitely recommend soaking them to loosen up the debris.
