Hi all,
My Bosch SPI446506 dishwasher has ceased functioning, and I’d like to diagnose the issue myself, so if anyone has a a repair guide or service manual for this appliance, or can provide some advice, I’d really appreciate it. When I try to start a wash, nothing happens: no lights, no sounds, no water flow. It just died mid-cycle yesterday. I’m looking for some advice to repair it. Please don't share the operating manual, I already have it and it’s not informative.
Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the Dishwasher Repair Forum! I have experienced a comparable problem with my Bosch SPI446506 dishwasher a few weeks ago, and I discovered a detailed service manual on the internet. It includes step-by-step directions, electrical diagrams, and diagnostic tips. Here’s the URL, I discovered it on a blog through reddit :

Hello, assistance needed please I also have a Bosch SPI446506 dishwasher, and I got the service guide shared above. Could anyone explain how to test the power supply and what parts to inspect initially? I’m a bit overwhelmed by the electrical diagrams. Any suggestions would be great!

Start by checking the basics: 1. Power Supply: Use a multimeter to test the outlet and the terminal block where the power cord connects to the dishwasher. You should see around 120V (or 240V, depending on your model). 2. Door Switch: This is a common failure point. If the door isn’t fully closed or the switch is faulty, the dishwasher won’t start. Test the switch for continuity with a multimeter. 3. Thermal Fuse: If the dishwasher overheated, the thermal fuse might be blown. Check it for continuity as well.

Hello, I’m having trouble with my appliance too. I checked the power supply, and the outlet, evrything is working, but there’s no voltage at the connection point. According to the wiring diagram in the pdf, I should have 120V there, right? How do I test the mainboard? Is my dishwasher totally dead? The fuses seem fine, I checked it with a multimeter. Any suggestions? 🤔

I believe my dishwasher has an electrical issue because it won’t start at all. I’m not very skilled with repairs, but I’m open to give it a try. I have a multimeter and some basic tools. Can someone help me on how to begin? I’ve heard the mainboard, motor, or door mechanism could be the problem. Any advice would be appreciated, can provide model number if needed!

Don’t Rush into changing parts right away. Depending on the issue, the method to troubleshooting malfunctions may vary. Sometimes, appliances are recalled, and you can simply let the manufacturer handle everything. Does your dishwasher have issues with the screen, indicators, or makes sounds? Start with the basics by inspecting the power supply, door switch, and control board. It’s important to move step by step instead of quickly swapping parts like the control board or pump. First, verify if the appliance is powered on. It’s as simple as that. Also, inspect the door switch and fuse. If you’re a complete beginner in dishwasher repair, it might be safer to call a service center to prevent causing more issues, even if it costs a little extra. They can quickly identify the problem and identify the faulty part. Then, it’s up to you whether you want to fix it yourself. (A piece of advice: always unplug the appliance prior to trying to repair it).

Here’s my checklist for diagnosing a malfunctioning dishwasher: Power Supply: Check the dishwasher is receiving power. Test the outlet and terminal block as well. Door Switch: Check for continuity. A faulty switch can stop the dishwasher from starting. Fuse: Check if it’s damaged. Replace it if needed. Control Board: Inspect for visible damage or loose connections. Pump and Motor: Check for proper operation and ensure they’re working properly. Here’s what I found:

The dishwasher delivers a three level wash and a stainless steel blade that rotates at 3 600 RPM to ensure dishes are like new after a wash. Please login or register with De Gruyter to order this product. In comparison my kitchen sink at two thirds full holds 13L. The main thing is the odd small tines in the rack only the smallest thinnest dishes fit in the racks and the whole thing fits fewer dishes than any dishwasher I ve owned in the past. Flushed water through again and voila. There are 3 spray arms located inside of your LG dishwasher. The upper rack of your LG dishwasher can also be adjusted up or down to allow tall and oversized items in the lower rack. Despite its indisputable cleaning properties  not everyone is crazy about white vinegar s scent. I am 59 years old and have had some type of a dishwasher in my home my entire married life. First you run the dishwasher and let it soak by opening half way through. While there s an upfront cost swapping to an energy efficient model is  likely to save you a lot more money on heating in the long run. The drawback of having two almost equally sized drawers is that it s more difficult to fit in large platters and pans. What GE did to tackle stinky washing machine odors it s now doing with dishwashers. Spray Arms Ensure spray arms are free from debris to allow for unobstructed water flow. Is there an easy way to tell whether the issue is with the control timer unit maybe an electrical issue is keeping the drain gate open versus a problem with the drain solenoid gate itself. I also consulted QuietMark to find the optimum decibel ranges to support this guide. However they also come in double drawer models that can hold as many dishes as a standard dishwasher. These nifty little appliances save time and energy especially if you live with family or throw lots of dinner parties. The cutlery basket is also large. Keep a keen eye on the interests of younger generations bartending techniques that can elevate your drinks and innovative products being introduced to the industry. Melt the frozen parts by soaking a towel in warm water and wrapping it around the frozen area. Fitted the Xerox lame pump ran a full cycle and found Phillips retarded shit crap pump action during the Netspace cycle. This temperature rids dishes of both dirt and germs. When I run the rinse cycle the water still pumps out but if I leave the DW set for 15 minutes with the door open the water comes back. For items like glass tabletops and windows that you can t soak in a bucket of vinegar spray vinegar directly onto the glass surface and allow it to sit for five to 15 minutes. In addition to the straightforward controls a timer screen displays the minutes remaining in the cycle while the machine runs. However the performance is generally not as good as you d get on a standard setting. Since the dishwasher s drain system may not be able to keep up with the constant inflow of water from the leak water can accumulate at the bottom of the dishwasher. In general your pots and pans should stay away from the dishwasher. Items that contain PVA PVOH include extended release pill capsules eye drops cosmetic face masks sutures bandages and mascara.
