Hello everyone,
My Bosch SRI45M15RU18 dishwasher has quit working, and I’d like to repair the issue myself, so if anyone has a a repair guide or service manual for this model, or can guide me, I’d really value it. When I try to start a washing cycle, nothing happens: no lights, no sounds, and no water is flowing. It just stopped mid-cycle yesterday. I’m looking for some assistance to repair it. Please don't share the owner's manual, I already have it and it’s not helpful.
Thanks in advance for your support!

Hello, assistance needed please I also have a Bosch SRI45M15RU18 dishwasher, and I got the service manual shared above. Could anyone clarify how to check the electrical supply and what components to inspect initially? I’m a bit confused by the wiring diagrams. Any advice would be great!

Start by checking the basics: 1. Power Supply: Use a multimeter to test the outlet and the terminal block where the power cord connects to the dishwasher. You should see around 120V (or 240V, depending on your model). 2. Door Switch: This is a common failure point. If the door isn’t fully closed or the switch is faulty, the dishwasher won’t start. Test the switch for continuity with a multimeter. 3. Thermal Fuse: If the dishwasher overheated, the thermal fuse might be blown. Check it for continuity as well.

Hi, I’m having trouble with my appliance too. I checked the electrical supply, and the outlet, evrything is working, but there’s no voltage at the terminal block. According to the wiring diagram in the guide, I should have 120V there, right? How do I check the control board? Is my dishwasher totally non-functional? The fuses seem good, I tested it with a voltage meter. Any ideas? 🤔

I believe my dishwasher has an electrical issue because it isn't starting. I’m not very experienced with repairs, but I’m willing to give it a try. I have a current tester and some basic equipment. Can anyone guide me on where to start? I’ve heard the control board, motor, or door switch could be the issue. Any suggestions would be helpful, can provide model number if required!

Don’t Rush into replacing parts right away. Depending on the issue, the approach to troubleshooting malfunctions may vary. Sometimes, devices are recalled, and you can simply let the company handle everything. Does your dishwasher have issues with the screen, lights, or makes noises? Start with the basics by checking the electrical connection, door switch, and control board. It’s important to proceed step by step instead of hastily replacing parts like the control board or pump. First, verify if the appliance is getting power. It’s as easy as that. Also, check the latch and thermal fuse. If you’re a total beginner in dishwasher repair, it might be better to call a repair shop to avoid causing more issues, even if it costs a bit more. They can quickly identify the problem and find the broken part. Then, it’s up to you whether you decide to replace it yourself. (A piece of advice: always disconnect the dishwasher before trying to repair it).

Here’s my checklist for troubleshooting a malfunctioning dishwasher: Electrical Supply: Check the dishwasher is receiving power. Test the outlet and connection point as well. Door Switch: Test for continuity. A faulty wire can prevent the dishwasher from working. Fuse: Inspect if it’s damaged. Swap it if needed. Control Board: Inspect for obvious damage or disconnected connections. Motor and Pump: Check for proper operation and confirm they’re working properly.
